Life gives us situations to make us grow according to the decisions you take.
When a child is born, his mind is
clear. But as he grows, the world fills his minds with all kinds of things. When he can’t even use the toilet properly,
we start asking questions like- What’ll you be when you grow up??
How can he tell??
The we ourselves tell him
that he should be this or that. We tell him that if he becomes this, he’ll earn a lot of money. We don’t let him
grow properly & teach him how to live in ignorance. Its no less than raping him.
He may even grow up to clear tough
management entrance exams & become a highly paid professional or become a good software professional as he was told that
to become rich these were good fields. But do you think this’ll satisfy him??
People mistake these small milestones
for destination. Most of us just think that getting a highly paid job is the aim. You may enjoy with that heavy pay package
for some time but is it the final goal??
There are two things- ‘Making a living’ and ‘Making living’.
A
small letter ‘a’ makes a lot of difference.
Most of us always keep on making a living but never make living.
To
find your goal on life, first you have to realize your reason of existence.
And that is what we are trying to do here.
First
step is to realize that the race that we are running is not with others but ourselves. The aim shouldn’t be to be better
than others but to be better than our present self.
Its not the amount of money that we earn, that defines the quality
of a human.
We should try to be a better person than ourselves.
Any path is just a path, and there is no affront,
to oneself or to others, in dropping it if that is what your heart tells you… Look at every path closely and deliberately.
Try it as many times as you think necessary. Then ask yourself, and yourself alone, one question… Does this path have
a heart?? If it does, the path is good; if it doesn’t it is of no use-----Carlos Castaneda, The teaching of Don Juan.
This
is the first step towards enlightenment. If you have the craving and have the courage to follow the path, then lets walk together
towards a better world.
